Roulette is a classic casino game enjoyed by players worldwide, including in Cambodia. This guide covers the rules, bet types, and differences between roulette variants.
How Roulette Works
Roulette features a spinning wheel with numbered pockets (0-36 in European, 0-36 plus 00 in American). Players place bets on where a small ball will land after the wheel stops spinning.
Inside vs Outside Bets
Inside bets are placed on specific numbers or small groups and offer higher payouts (up to 35:1 for a straight-up bet). Outside bets cover larger groups like red/black, odd/even, or high/low and offer lower payouts but better odds of winning.
European vs American Roulette
European roulette has a single zero (0) with a house edge of 2.7%. American roulette adds a double zero (00), increasing the house edge to 5.26%. Whenever possible, choose European roulette for better player odds.
